Job Classification:Technology - Engineering & Cloud**Director – Fabric Power BI & Python Development****About the Role**We are looking for a dynamic and experienced **Director of Fabric Power BI & Python Development** to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-wide analytics solutions. With over 9 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Advanced Analytics, you will play a critical role in transforming legacy reporting platforms into modern, scalable solutions using **Microsoft Fabric**, **Power BI**, and **Python**.This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder engagement. You will partner with business and technology teams to deliver actionable insights that drive performance across financial, operational, and asset management domains.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead the end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and semantic data models within Microsoft Fabric.* Drive the migration of legacy BI platforms (Tableau, Cognos) to Power BI.* Architect scalable data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.* Develop advanced DAX calculations for KPIs, forecasting, and predictive analytics.* Perform data preparation and analysis using SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL), Power Query, and Power Pivot.* Build geospatial visualizations using Power BI and ArcGIS.* Ensure data governance, accuracy, and secure access across BI solutions.* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver intuitive, impactful BI solutions.* Lead Agile project execution, including sprint planning and documentation.* Mentor junior developers and offshore teams on Power BI best practices.* Partner with Sales, IT, and Operations teams to align BI solutions with business goals.* Maintain and enhance BI infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.* Document standards, best practices, and operating procedures.* Stay current with BI trends, Microsoft Fabric innovations, and emerging technologies.**Qualifications*** 9+ years of experience in IT/Analytics, with 6+ years in BI and Data Visualization.* Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and Power Pivot.* Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and experience with large datasets and ETL processes.* Deep understanding of data modeling and performance optimization.* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.* Experience in Agile/Scrum.**Preferred Skills*** Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Office365, SQL Server, and SharePoint.* Experience with Tableau, Cognos, Power Apps, and Power Automate.**Technical Expertise*** Power BI (Expert)* Advanced Dashboard Development & Data Modeling* DAX (Advanced)* SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot* Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS)* Tableau or other BI tools (Nice to have)**Experience Requirements*** IT/Analytics: 9+ years (Required)* BI and Data Visualization: 6+ years (Required)# **What we offer you:**# * **Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.*** **Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and leave of absences, such as parental and military leave.*** 401(k) plan with company match (up to 4%).* Company-funded pension plan.* **Wellness Programs**including up to $1,600 a year for reimbursement of items purchased to support personal wellbeing needs.* **Work/Life Resources** to help support topics such as parenting, housing, senior care, finances, pets, legal matters, education, emotional and mental health, and career development.* **Education Benefit** to help finance traditional college enrollment toward obtaining an approved degree and many accredited certificate programs.* **Employee Stock Purchase Plan:** **Shares** can be purchased at 85% of the lower of two prices (Beginning or End of the purchase period), after one year of service.Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
