A leading acute care hospital based in south Florida is now searching for an experienced Medical Surgical Nurse Coordinator to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This regional leading not-for-profit hospital is home to 130+ inpatient beds and specializes in a variety of services including sports medicine, orthopedics, robotic and general surgery, emergency and critical care, and pulmonary care services. This location has consistently earned a 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid regarding high quality care and safe patient outcomes. 

Reporting to the unit Nurse Manager, the Medical Surgical Nurse Coordinator provides clinical leadership to the inpatient unit. Other responsibilities include providing staff evaluations, managing patient flow, offering staff and patient education, and serving as the liaison between staff and leadership teams. This is a full-time night shift position.

What’s Needed to Succeed:

  • Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain
  • Progressive working experience in an acute care setting
  • Prior leadership experience is a plus
