Regional MDS Consultant / Regional Clinical Reimbursement Specialist Join to apply for the Regional MDS Consultant / Regional Clinical Reimbursement Specialist role at Aviata Health Group. This position is focused on providing expertise in MDS processes and reimbursement across multiple facilities within the Orlando to Fort Lauderdale region. The role requires travel three times a week within the region and is open to RN license holders who live in the same area. Conduct orientation sessions for all employees involved in the MDS process. Provide ongoing education for staff as assigned by supervisor. Maintain current knowledge of MDS and ensure regulatory changes are applied. Track support calls and aid in training/staff development. Advise supervisor and HCS liaison on items requiring program adaptations. Develop and distribute training materials. Update the MDS User Manual as needed. Travel to facilities to evaluate production and deliver training. Create weekly updates on current HCS MDS issues and procedural guides. Review facility processing and advise administrators on abnormal trends. Prepare and submit facility operation reports. Attend and/or conduct meetings as required. Prepare for regulatory compliance surveys. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and government agencies. Demonstrate respect, compassion, honesty, integrity, and passion for caring in all interactions. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Current, unencumbered, active state RN license. Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation facilities. Extensive knowledge of MDS completion, HCS MDS Program, and its functionality. Preferred multi‑site regional experience. 2–3 years as an MDS Coordinator. RAC‑CT or RNAC preferred.
