The team

As a Data Scientist & Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and other Hitachi group companies to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive strategic decision-making and deliver large-scale digital transformation for our clients.


The role

With your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning and your passion for solving complex problems and generating actionable insights you will be able to contribute to the success of our projects.


  1. Responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data (data mining or extraction) from multiple data sources: processing, cleaning and validation.
  2. Solving business problems using data analysis/mining and machine learning techniques.
  3. Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data and detecting trends, patterns in data sets and improving data models with advanced analytics and deep learning capability.
  4. Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
  5. Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms.

What You’ll Bring
  1. Proficiency in AI, machine learning, and HPC (High Performance Computing) technologies and tools.
  2. Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Qlikview, R Shiny.
  3. Experience with Nvidia AI tools and technologies, such as CUDA or TensorRT.
  4. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  6. The ability to collaborate with Business and IT teams, providing a key point of contact for stakeholders.
