Our Client is seeking a Data Scientist for an extendable 6-month Contract position in Santa Clara, CA. This position pays $40/hr.

Required Skills:

6+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 3+ years in Data Science (AI/ML).

  • Good GenAI capabilities with hands-on experience in traditional ML/deep learning.
  • Experience in DL/neural networks or ML, especially how CNN, RNN work.
  • Details on how transformers work.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Hands-on AI/ML modeling experience of complex datasets combined with a strong understanding of the theoretical foundations of AI/ML (research oriented).
  • Expertise in most of the following areas: supervised & unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, federated learning, time series forecasting, Bayesian statistics, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience on design, and optimizing LLM, natural language processing (NLP) systems, frameworks, and tools.
  • Experience building RAG applications independently using available open source LLM models.
  • Comfortable working in the cloud and high-performance computing environments (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, Databricks).
  • Strong appetite for research and exploration while working.





Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. As a contractor you may also be eligible for health benefits such as health, dental, and vision as well as access to a 401K plan.
