As Pharmacy Manager, you oversee pharmacy staff, ensuring patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and operational excellence. You lead a team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations. Responsibilities Patient Safety Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Requirements & Compliance Quality Assurance Customer Service Personnel Management Inventory Management Financial Profitability Loss Prevention Workflow Management Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff to maximize strengths and close knowledge gaps Identify critical business opportunities and implement solutions to drive growth and improve performance Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community setting Seek new ways to collaborate and deliver better outcomes Align others around purpose to gain support and commitment Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride Apply acquired knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors Required Qualifications Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List Immunization Certification from an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) Listed as ‘pharmacist in charge’ on the pharmacy state license Submission of required information/documents to state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in PMP states) Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range $65.00 – $85.00 per hour (base hourly rate; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors). Eligible for bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive programs.
