Sr. Director of Human Resources – Full‑Time North Shore Health is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Human Resources to drive workforce strategy and employee engagement across our skilled nursing and assisted living centers in the Green Bay and Wausau areas. Summary The Senior Director is a mission‑driven strategic partner who collaborates closely with clinical and operational leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and drive workforce effectiveness. This role provides expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning while ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. Responsibilities • Collaborate with regional leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive employee engagement and organizational performance. • Lead HR initiatives within the geographic region, including talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, and compliance. • Foster a positive workplace culture and lead compliance and process improvement efforts. • Serve as a mentor and resource for Directors of Human Resources across the organization. • Provide guidance on internal policies, procedures, and best practices in HR. Qualifications (Requirements) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Master’s degree or advanced HR certification (SPHR, SHRM‑SCP) preferred. Experience: Minimum seven years of progressive HR leadership, including multi‑site or regional oversight; proven success in developing and implementing HR strategies that improve employee engagement. Industry Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, senior living, or a similarly regulated industry preferred but not required. Deep knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills. Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. Commitment to fostering a positive, mission‑driven culture aligned with organizational values. Travel Valid driver’s license required. Ability to travel to assigned facilities as needed.
