With offices in the U.S., Colombia, and Panama, we specialize in nearshore staff augmentation, custom software development, and software solution implementations. We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team in a full‑time, permanent role. This position requires strong communication and consultative skills, as well as a technical understanding of software services. You will be joining our Sales Team to help source and close new business opportunities in the U.S. market and across Latin America. Responsibilities Prospect VIP accounts using tailored strategies to initiate weekly contact via email, phone, or LinkedIn. Collaborate closely with BDRs to generate leads and expand the sales pipeline. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and key decision-makers. Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, pain points, and project goals. Manage the entire sales process: from discovery, proposal creation, and presentation, to negotiation and deal closure. Provide consultative support to clients, aligning their needs with Rootstack’s service offerings and technical capabilities. Review RFPs and technical documentation to craft tailored proposals and solutions. Collaborate with internal technical teams and solution architects to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions. Support the commercial team by offering technical guidance during client meetings and sales presentations. Provide insights and recommendations based on client feedback and industry trends. Maintain up-to-date CRM records and report on pipeline and sales activity. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, including lead generation and meetings booked. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Must be legally authorized to work and reside in the United States. Conversational-level proficiency in Spanish (required). Proven experience in the banking or fintech industry (required). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong capability to analyze business needs and translate them into scalable, well‑structured technical solutions. Highly organized, self‑driven, and able to work both independently and in collaboration with technical and commercial teams. Proactive, curious, and results‑oriented, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and problem‑solving.
