Job Title: Senior Power Electronics Engineer
Location: New Freedom, PA
Pay Range: $ 65-70/hr (W2 Contract)
What’s the Job?
- Power Conversion Design: Lead the design and testing of AC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems.
- Motor Control Development: Develop and test motor control systems for various applications.
- System Simulation and Modeling: Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling, simulation, and verification.
- Prototype Testing: Conduct prototype testing on hardware-in-the-loop systems and variable speed drives to verify control performance.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, and instructions during the development and testing phases.
What’s Needed?
- Educational Background: BS with 10 years of experience or MS with 5 years of experience in Power Electronics.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AC-DC and DC-AC conversion, motor control design, and testing.
- Simulation Skills: Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and verification.
- Testing Proficiency: Ability to conduct hands-on testing, including setup and use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
