In this role you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and modern cloud solutions supporting Public Health data modernization initiatives. You will architect, optimize, and guide the delivery of cloud‑based platforms that enable more effective data sharing, analytics, and decision‑making across Public Health networks. Qualifications HS Diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience designing, configuring, and administering enterprise cloud environments. 4+ years of experience developing with .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL. Expertise in developing secure, cloud‑based architectures and adhering to engineering and cloud governance standards. Experience deploying and troubleshooting IaaS environments and Linux/Unix‑based systems, including shell scripting. Proficiency with CI/CD and automation tools such as GitHub Actions. Proven ability to lead technical teams through cloud transformations. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements. Desired Skills And Experience Experience optimizing cloud cost management and implementing governance frameworks. Familiarity with CDC processes, data modernization efforts, and federal IT environments. Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. Cloud certifications such as AWS Solution Architect (Associate/Professional) or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Security Requirements Must be US Citizen or have the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period.
