This is a remote position reporting into our Minneapolis Minnesota office. The basic function of the SVP of Business Development, is to be responsible for ensuring the successful achievement of revenue and growth goals for designated practice area(s) by cultivating and developing client relationships and collaborating with the EVPs and Client Services team. Job Description Essential job functions and responsibilities Must follow and meet Key Performance Expectations (KPEs) for this role. Responsible for supporting and developing sales for one or more assigned practice areas identifying, developing and cultivating relationships with key influencers and decision-makers. Coordinate and oversee market research and sales team requests for sales systems and report development. Embrace and enhance the company sales and marketing methodology. Develop proposals, pricing and work plans that will result in the support of annual revenue growth goals for the company using a consultative selling strategy. Use an innovative and visionary approach, allowing the company to stay on the industry cutting edge and Identify ways to differentiate our company from our competitors. Evaluate and communicate how to improve our services and identify new service offerings based on industry trends and client feedback. Develop and maintain knowledge of competitors by educating on industry technologies and trends. Ensure the corporate sales strategy is implemented effectively resulting in achievement of sales forecasts. Review implementation of sales plan on quarterly basis to ensure objectives are being achieved. All other responsibilities as assigned. Bachelors degree and 6+ years of sales in a professional services company, or equivalent work experience. Advance degree preferred. Ability to gain required in-depth knowledge of the industry Strong knowledge and experience using consultative selling techniques. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and drive results. Excellent time management skills and attention to details. Ability to build and maintain strong book of business including relationships across all levels of the organization and externally. Positive and professional attitude.
