Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Information Technology Industry Hospitals and Health Care Responsibilities Ensure common application and infrastructure architecture decisions are followed by Business and IT. Direct research, analysis, design, proposal, and delivery of IT architecture solutions. Design secure systems and solutions based on guidelines and regulations. Manage enterprise architecture, aligning business IT and analysing the application portfolio for a large business unit or process domain. Derive IT strategies from business requirements and ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture. Drive the architecture roadmap and the application and data architecture for the business unit, focusing on security, scalability, and reliability of the IT landscape. Prepare decisions on the use of new technologies and platforms. Model IT architecture and processes, promoting consistent design, planning and implementation of IT solutions. Coordinate communication with decision makers and stakeholders; advise them on the development of the IT landscape. Balance organizational needs with enterprise architecture decisions and objectives. Identify digitalisation opportunities and synergies within the system landscape and represent system interrelationships holistically. Qualifications and Experience Degree in computer science, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. 10+ years in global IT organisations, ideally in a mix of operational and architecture roles. 5+ years of experience as a solution / application or enterprise architect. In‑depth knowledge of software development, application management and enterprise‑architecture methodologies, governance structures and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). Technological expertise and several years of experience in complex technology landscapes. Functional or IT implementation experience across all key IT functions, with a focus on PLM, SCM, Order‑to‑Cash and Accounting. At least one business domain in depth – CRM/Sales, R&D/PLM or SCM. Experience in business‑process analysis and modelling. Experience with Enterprise‑Architecture tools such as LeanIX or BizzDesign. Deep understanding of the interrelationships between functional business and technical IT structures. Attributes and Skills Very good English language skills (spoken and written); ideally very good German language skills. Strong organisational talent with excellent communication and presentation skills at all organisational levels. Team player with high social competence, capable of working confidently in a global environment. Results‑ and quality‑oriented, high commitment and strong analytical and conceptual skills. Flexible in thought and action, quick grasp, constructive assertiveness.
