We value integrity, transparency, and a shared commitment to supporting independent medicine.Job DescriptionAbout the Role:The Emergency Medicine – Independent Practice Track is designed for innovative medical professionals who are eager to blend clinical expertise with entrepreneurial spirit. The primary goal of this role is to develop and implement new healthcare solutions that enhance patient care. Candidates will have the opportunity to establish a physician group and lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and overall service delivery with the services of MedCBO to help facilitate both the startup and ongoing business aspects of your practice. This position not only focuses on patient care but also emphasizes the importance of strategic planning and business development within the healthcare sector as MedCBO works with you to build your practice. Ultimately, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of emergency medicine through innovative practices and solutions.Minimum Qualifications:Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Emergency Medicine.Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.Demonstrated experience in emergency medical care.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in healthcare entrepreneurship or business development.Fellowship training in a subspecialty of emergency medicine.Previous leadership roles in clinical settings.Responsibilities:Establish and maintain a new physician practice with the guidance and services of MedCBO.Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.Identify and develop new business opportunities within the emergency medicine sector.Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement innovative practices that improve patient care.Conduct market research to understand trends and needs in emergency healthcare services.Engage with stakeholders to promote new initiatives and secure necessary resources.Skills:The required skills for this position include strong clinical judgment and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations, which are essential for providing effective emergency care. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and engage with stakeholders effectively. Entrepreneurial skills will be utilized to identify market opportunities and develop innovative solutions that address gaps in emergency services. Leadership abilities will be crucial for guiding teams through the implementation of new initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
