Description Specialization: Emergency Medicine Job Summary: Methodist Hospital Atascosa is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team 45 minutes south of San Antonio, Texas. Qualified Candidates: Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained Strong communication skills Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with sound judgment and decision‑making skills J1 candidates accepted Incentive/Position Details: 15,000 annual volume 67 bed acute care hospital Level IV trauma 24 hours of daily physician coverage 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage 1099 status up to 120 hours per month Meditech EMR About Methodist Hospital Atascosa and Methodist Healthcare System Methodist Hospital Atascosa has focused its efforts on creating the unique patient experience and world‑class care that Methodist Healthcare is proud to be recognized for throughout the region.
