Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $205,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from New Edge Associates a Talent Acquisition Firm We are seeking an accomplished Head of Commercial and CRE Lending to lead one of the bank’s primary lending divisions. This senior leadership role oversees the full spectrum of commercial and commercial real estate lending activities, ensuring credit quality, production goals, and regulatory compliance are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong credit acumen, proven portfolio management skills, and a passion for coaching high‑performing teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee all commercial and CRE lending operations, including underwriting, approvals, and portfolio performance. Review and evaluate loan requests and present recommendations to senior credit leadership. Serve as a designee of the Division Executive with delegated lending authority and administrative oversight. Monitor division production, lender performance, and overall portfolio quality. Coach, mentor, and evaluate staff to ensure individual and team production goals are met. Develop and manage departmental budgets, production targets, and performance metricsli> Support new business development, helping expand commercial and CRE relationships. Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal credit and risk management policies. Prepare executive‑level reports on production, portfolio performance, and strategic initiatives. Foster a motivating and collaborative team environment that drives excellence and accountability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of commercial and CRE lending experience, including leadership of lending teams. Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, portfolio management, and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop lending professionals. Exceptional analytical, communication, and decision‑making skills. Demonstrated success in achieving growth and maintaining high credit quality.
