Role ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supporting Vitronic project-based software solutions. Utilize multi-threaded, legacy, ANSI C, C++, as well as various programming languages, to create complete custom software solutions to provide interfaces between Vitronic software and customers. Utilize GIT and Visual Studio VC10/2017 to setup new project software, making modifications to existing code, and configuring XML. Modify existing simulators and existing interfaces with code level changes. Write functions with predefined requirements and test that code. Analyze and correct errors of complex problems on site or via remote maintenance. Collaborate with the team in Germany on projects and troubleshooting. Be self-motivated and take initiative to problem solve issues.

  • Minimum QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in C++
  • Minimum 3 years engineering experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency programming with a QWERTY keyboard
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Position requires ability to use computer, electrical, mechanical, and safety equipment. Reaching equipment requires climbing ladders and stairs at times.
  • This role requires minimal travel domestically and internationally. Some locations have specific security background checks, drug testing, and vaccination requirements.
  • Desired CharacteristicsBachelors Degree in computer, electrical, industrial, or other applicable engineering
  • MS Degree in computer, electrical, industrial, or other applicable engineering
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, Xml, Networking, Interfaces, GIT, RegEx, Python, Bash, Batch, and Pascal.
