We are looking for a CAD Drafter to add to our growing team within our manufacturing facility. Candidate should possess a positive attitude and be willing to work independently as well as with all members of the team. Candidate should be communicative, energetic, punctual and open to growth and development. Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma
Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Required)
Basic (2D) ProE or equivalent software knowledge (Required)
Excellent computer skills (Required)
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, establish work priorities, and manage time effectively
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with others and be an effective member of the team

Job Duties:
Included but not limited to:
Analyzing wiring harness drawings received from our customers
Using the data mined information to build the bill of material, wire listings, and other documents in various office software including our base AS400 inventory system.
Identify the components and the COBO part number associated to them
Communicate with customers when clarification is needed
Request new part number creations and part sourcing via our purchasing office
Create COBO drawings suitable for manufacturing and related documentation such as wiring cut list, splice tables, required tooling etc.
