About the Job: Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled

Critical Care Registered Nurse

to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Critical Care RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients requiring advanced life support systems. Responsibilities: Assessment and Reassessment:

Systematically assess and reassess patients' health care needs, involving patients, families, and other healthcare providers as appropriate. Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes:

Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, involving patients, families, and other healthcare providers as appropriate. Implementation and Coordination of Care:

Provide nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs using professional judgment guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations, and policy. Evaluation:

Evaluate patient outcomes by utilizing the critical thinking process and evidence-based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts, and reach sound conclusions. Discharge Planning:

Evaluate discharge needs related to the plan of care, utilizing resources as needed. Qualifications: Education:

Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Experience:

Previous experience in healthcare preferred. Licensure/Certification:

Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for the duration of employment. Benefits: $27.84-$45.46/hour based on previous work experience.
