**Job Id:** 483 **# of Openings:** 3 *****Housekeeping/Food Service $500 Sign-On Bonus***** True Friends is currently looking for individuals to fill the role of Housekeeper and Food Service at our Eden Prairie location. This position will have experience in either housekeeping or food service (cook/dishwasher) and will train to fill in as cook, dishwasher, retreat host or housekeeper as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities Housekeeper/Cook/Dishwasher/Host:**

* Works safely with housekeeping and food service chemicals and tools while maintaining inventory and following Department of Health regulations

* Monitors condition of all equipment, cabins, meeting spaces & team building areas and reports any damage, deficiencies or hazards to manager or lead, immediately

* Communicates team building, food service, housekeeping and hosting needs and updates to manager or lead, including scheduling changes & guest or participant needs

* Facilitates, through instruction & supervision, cooperative, team building, games & challenges and participates in debriefing of activities

* Assists with review and setup of event spaces and team building equipment, guest check-in and check-out, preparing meals according to recipes and production requirements & remains on-call when hosting groups

* Conducts general and deep cleaning duties in the kitchen, dining hall, cabins, community buildings and keeps environmental impact to a minimum

* Positively interacts with participants, guests, co-workers, and supervisors

* Ensures success and assists in further development of programs

**Physical Demands of Housekeeper/Cook/Dishwasher/Host****:**

* Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs

* Required to walk, sit, stand, bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and move continually during working hours

* Must be able to hear and communicate verbally

* Required to feel objects and use fingers to operate tools and controls

* Must be able to wear and hang in a seat harness for extended periods of time

**Work Environment:**

* Works both indoors and outdoors

* Precarious or high locations

* Commercial kitchen

* May be subject to physical aggression and challenging behaviors from program participants

**Qualifications of Housekeeper/Cook/Dishawasher/Host:**

* Must be able to pass an organizational background study

* Previous customer service, housekeeping, food service, proper food handling procedures and behavior management experience desirable

* Good organization & time management skills

* High school diploma preferred

* Must be able to work independently when needed

* Ability to work with individuals of all ages and abilities
