Base pay range $30.00/hr - $37.00/hr Now Hiring: Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst Employment Type: 12 months Contract/W2 Equipment Provided: Laptop & Phone About the Role We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join our clients team in the Utilities and Energy sector. This role focuses on ensuring continuous network and system availability through real-time monitoring, proactive incident management, and timely escalation of issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established operational procedures. Key Responsibilities Monitor network devices, interfaces, and applications using automated tools and dashboards. Create, update, and manage incident tickets, service requests, and change orders. Issue initial outage notifications and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Execute predefined actions following runbooks and playbooks to address recurring events. Analyze and correlate alarms to reduce duplication and enhance incident accuracy. Escalate incidents per operational procedures when issues fall outside standard guidelines. Required Qualifications 1+ year experience in Network Operations Center (NOC), IT Support, or Telecom Operations environments. Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and system monitoring tools. Experience with ticketing applications such as ServiceNow or Remedy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High School Diploma required; AA or BS in IT or related field preferred. Preferred Certifications CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or ITIL Foundation.
