Trading Operations Specialist - Agricultural and Energy
Seeking a Trading Operations professional to support both the Agricultural and Energy desks. You will be responsible for trade capture, confirmation & reconciliations, PnL calculation and analysis, and supporting front office traders for ad-hoc requests.
Responsibilities:
- Trading Operations & Support for the Agricultural and Energy trading desks.
- Trade and position reconciliation with clearing and prime brokers.
- Daily P&L calculations and analysis.
- Oversee the trade capture and P&L reporting functions for the desk.
- Support traders in risk management.
- Automate manual tasks where appropriate.
- Support the Business Management team in ensure that new desks, traders, and products are on-boarded correctly.
Experience required:
- 2 or more years of experience within commodities trading operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM subject.
- Good understanding of option structures and physical trading.
- Python, SQL, or another coding language
- Ability to work with databases, and utilize data from APIs preferred
