Heavy Civil Estimator

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects including excavation, sitework, and utilities.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required resources.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to validate project assumptions and ensure accurate estimates.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project conditions and requirements.
- Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Review and analyze subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating heavy civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of excavation, sitework, and utilities.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Base Salary (flexible depending on experience) + Bonus
