This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities Performs wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications Installs heat sinks, sockets, and faceplates, and accessories on boards using hand tools. Reads and interprets schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, or work orders to determine materials assembly instructions. Assembles electrical systems or support structures, subassemblies using rivets, soldering or micro welding equipment. Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wires or solder to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. Marks and tags components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified. Measures and adjusts voltages to specified values to determine operational accuracy of instruments. Solders Hi-Temp SN96, SN63,SN93 and HMP Education and Experience Must have High School Diploma or GED. Must have a 2+ years of experience in PCB soldering Must have experience in utilizing soldering gun/station, adjusting equipment controls to regulate process factors such as temperatures, pressures, and speeds according to specifications. Must be able to see details at close range The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects. The ability to keep your hand steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one place.
