Job Description:
As a Urology Office Medical Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Hours worked will vary from part-time throughout the training period.
Performing various laboratory tests and analyses on patient samples to assist urologists in diagnosing and treating urological conditions.
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in test results.
Properly documenting and recording test results in patient records.
Collaborating with urologists, medical assistants, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Adhering to laboratory safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Assisting in inventory management and ordering laboratory supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or a related field.
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests and recording results.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in a urology office or related healthcare setting is preferred.
