Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaintenance Technician-Utilities Monday-Friday

Prime Beverage Group is looking for a team-oriented and passionate Maintenance Technician- Utilities with the ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies. The Maintenance Utilities Technician will perform preventive maintenance on utilities equipment along with supporting the department goals. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Position Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair boiler/steam systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair domestic water heating systems.
  • Maintain boiler/condenser water chemical systems.
  • Maintain refrigeration, cooling tower, and boiler logbooks.
  • Performance of duties assigned with focus on safety, quality (of product and task) and GMP’s.
  • Execute work orders on time as assigned by planner/scheduler, Manager, or other members of management as assigned in proper priority.
  • Calibration of any/all equipment and instruments as assigned.
  • Responsible for housekeeping of any and all work areas during and following performed work.
  • Responsible for housekeeping of any and all maintenance shop and parts storage areas as assigned.
  • Manage plant utilities systems to include but not limited to the plant refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, compressed air, Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), water chemical systems, and domestic water systems.
  • Key contributor to the installation of major plant process and utility equipment/projects.

Position Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the production facility.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
Education and Experience

  • Five years of experience in manufacturing industry, preferred.
  • Wastewater experience is a plus.
