Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking a Part-Time Cardiology APP for our cardiology hospital patients at our Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Position Highlights:

• Working approximately20 hours per week; Friday - Monday 8-10 hour shifts
• Cardiology APP that will see cardiology consults and assist physicians rounding on hospital patients.
• General Cardiology experience required in an inpatient setting
• Could possibly see patients on Monday's and Friday in a outpatient clinic if needed/desired

• Cardiac surgery is offered at both Ascension Saint Thomas West and Rutherford.

• Provides latest technology in heart transplant, VAD, ECMO, TAVR and mitral clips and advanced coronary therapies

• The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks.
• Ascension Saint Thomas continues to make significant investments to care for our community, including a $300 million Midtown campus expansion project which was completed in 2023.
• Recent expansions at our hospital in Midtown include a new ICU and surgical tower, and the Womens Hospital Pavilion which opened in 2023. This dedicated entrance patients with immediate access to all womens care services, such as our OB-GYN Emergency Department and Birthing Center, making access to care more direct and convenient.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.
