Job Description:

This position is responsible for support development and manufacturing of Client products.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing for the aerospace industry.

  • Experience with PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and reading schematics

  • Experience with common electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.)

  • Proven track record of delivering results on time.

  • Experience supporting the development of space based systems.

  • Experience working in aerospace manufacturing.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to review and develop written instructions, document work performed, and follow up with engineers and management as needed.

  • Degree or certificate in related field

  • Current or recently expired certification in IPC soldering standards including 7711/7721, J-STD, and J-STD Space Applications.

Daily tasks performed:

  • Follow ESD safe protocols and safe handling techniques when handling sensitive electronic assemblies.

  • Perform circuit board inspection, circuit rework/modification, cable harness fabrication, electronic box assembly, and electrical signal measurement.

  • Assemble first article electronic test racks, test fixtures, and associated wiring.

  • Perform first article conformal coat/staking inspections and document deviations.

  • Review pre-release work instructions and make recommendations for improved work definition.

  • Maintain EE Dev Lab: solder stations, order/stock consumables, track assets, and monitor/update/close EHD Jira tickets.

  • Validate and maintain ESD workstations and ESD Protected Areas (EPA"s).

  • Identify and address safety issues in the lab.
