School Bus Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Mechanic to join our team. As a SB Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of School Busses and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.

*Duties:*
- Perform diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Conduct tire services including rotations, replacements, and repairs
- Repair and maintain equipment such as generators, compressors, and power tools
- Solder electrical connections and repair wiring as needed
- Perform general automotive repairs including engine tune-ups, brake replacements, and suspension work
- Work with equipment including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Replace shocks, struts, and other suspension components
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

*Skills:*
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Proficient in Diesel diagnostics and repair techniques
- Experience with tire service including rotations, replacements, and repairs
- Ability to repair and maintain various types of equipment
- Knowledge of soldering techniques for electrical repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
