Job Summary:
The Clinical coordinator will support the Clinical Manager and Assistant Clinical Manager with supervising the daily activities of the department, shift or area. This leader will have a rotating schedule based on the unit needs which may include evenings and weekends. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
- Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
- Require one (1) year of current satisfactory RN experience.
- Prefer the ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- Prefer the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Prefer leadership skills and understanding of group processes and teamwork.
- Prefer interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner.
- Prefer basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
- Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.
