Outside Sales Manager

The Outside Sales Manager (Equipment) will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities within a geographically assigned sales territory selling to both current customers as well as new business targets. The primary focus of the role will be strategically aligned and focus on digital printing equipment, this will include sale of wide-format digital printing and finishing equipment, and related items to companies producing Point of Sale, Trade Show Display, Exterior Signage, Vehicle Wrap, and other Digital Graphic applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform business development activities within a geographic sales territoryas directed by Nazdar Sales Management.
- Coordinate with the Sales development team who will pass along qualified leads as well as with the Account Management team on new business opportunities.
- Introduce and demonstrate Nazdar's digital equipment product line solutions to customers that emphasize features and benefits that bring value and meet customer requirements.
- Utilize advanced Sales Call Planning to ensure effective time management in the pursuit of new business development activities.
- Maintain an active and current Sales Opportunity Pipeline with targeted prospects utilizing Nazdar's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program.
- Track customer activity within Nazdar's CRM program to review customer service levels, product purchase activity, and Nazdar SourceOne vendor managed inventory (consignment) programs.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of customer contact and other demographic information within Nazdar's CRM program.
- Provide regular and timely updates to Regional Sales Manager on new business development opportunities, and/or competitive threats at assigned account base.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on prospects toadvance business opportunities or resolve problems. When required such travel may include representatives of Vendor Partners.
- Work with Sales Coordinator to develop customer price lists, and quotations in accordance with Nazdar SourceOne customer discounting guidelines. Where necessary engage the Regional Sales Manager when additional price deviation to meet competition.
- Attend Industry Trade Shows located within, and outside of geographic sales territory to support business development activities by Nazdar SourceOne and/or Vendor partners.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Previous sales or Business to Consumer experience is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, supervisors and peers, which requires excellent communication skills (grammar, enunciation, pronunciation).
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Self-driven, results oriented with a clear focus on high quality results.
