Responsibilities
- Independently build complex electronic assemblies, terminal boards, printed circuit boards, and heat sinks.
- Rework defective sub-assemblies such as Surface Mount assemblies and Through-hole assemblies.
- Work from drawing assembly, bill of materials, special model sheet, and other input documents.
- Use advanced soldering and de-soldering skills to produce products.
- Use measuring equipment, test equipment, and hand tools as needed (air drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, presses, and other tooling fixtures).
- Read and interpret drawings, bill of materials, and blueprints.
- Make minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting, and other variances within the established guidelines of workmanship standards.
- Receive detailed instructions on new assignments and limited instructions on routine work.
- Match drawings to the bill of materials.
- Perform visual and electrical checks.
- Maintain and support a safe, clean work environment.
- Facilitate ongoing continuous improvement in support of quality, productivity, and growth objectives.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 30lbs standing for 8 hours at one time
