Job Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual for a position in assembly. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in assembly or similar environments, such as woodworking shops.
Position Overview:
This is a stable opportunity with a temp-to-hire arrangement. We are looking for reliable team members who enjoy hands-on work and the process of constructing items.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $19 per hour
Shift: First Shift
Work Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Education Requirements:
No formal degree is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and construct caskets.
- Utilize hand tools and some powered equipment.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Work in a smoke-free environment.
- Wear steel-toed footwear.
- Operate in a non-temperature controlled setting.
- Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in assembly and mechanical tasks.
- Familiarity with parts assembly is preferred.
- No prior experience is necessary, but candidates should be experienced in similar roles.
