Position Overview:
As an HR Coordinator within the Payroll Department’s Time Tracking Team, you will play a key role in assisting with time-related audits, year-end processes, and payroll accuracy. Your attention to detail and experience with payroll systems will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of the payroll process, particularly related to time accruals, wage/OT processing, and exempt/non-exempt classifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the year-end payroll process, ensuring all time tracking and payroll data are accurately recorded and processed.
- Run and manage Workday audits related to time tracking, including time accruals, wage and overtime processing, and exempt/non-exempt classifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for timekeeping, accruals, and payroll procedures.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Assist with any other payroll-related tasks and projects as assigned by the payroll manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience using Workday for payroll and time tracking, particularly in running time-related audits and processing wage/OT.
- Proficient in GSuite (Google Sheets) or MS Office (Excel), with the ability to handle large datasets, perform calculations, and generate reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive payroll data.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and address issues in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a payroll department or in an HR-related capacity.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling issues.
