Classification: Level 1 / Class 2038 / Contract / Full Time (on-site) / Exempt / Benefitted / Non‑Represented Hiring Salary: $60,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with experience THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES UC Law San Francisco's Center for Innovation (C4i) seeks a highly organized and strategic Program Coordinator to support the operations of a nationally recognized academic think tank and action tank. C4i provides high-impact support to Congress, federal and state agencies, and major media outlets, blending rigorous research with hands‑on policy engagement across three key verticals: The AI Law & Innovation Institute, The Law & Medicine Initiative, and The Startup Legal Garage. Role The Program Coordinator will report to the Chief of Staff and work closely with Professor Robin Feldman and the C4i team. This role blends three core functions: Administrative Support (40%) Manage complex scheduling and calendar coordination for Professor Feldman and the Center Handle logistics for meetings, events, and convenings with policymakers, journalists, and academic partners Coordinate communications, including email management and stakeholder correspondence Support travel arrangements and event preparation Maintain organizational systems and track deliverables across multiple projects Strategic Operations (30%) Collaborate with the Chief of Staff to improve Center workflows, processes, and output Support project management across C4i's three verticals Build and maintain internal systems for cross‑functional coordination Track and manage stakeholder relationships and external requests Assist with operational planning and process improvements Research Support (30%) Assist the research team with literature reviews, data gathering, and source management Support preparation of briefing memos, policy summaries, and reports Help coordinate research projects and manage research‑related logistics Draft and edit content for various audiences, including academic and policy stakeholders Maintain research files and documentation systems The Program Coordinator will serve as a strategic partner within the Center, exercising independent judgment to manage priorities, drive cross‑functional coordination, and ensure the effective execution of key initiatives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
