Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Job with LifePoint Health in Georgetown, TX

Position Details:
- Full-time M-F, 8am-4:30pm to cover adult PHP and IOP services
- Support staff includes Case Managers, Therapists, Nurses
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current unencumbered Texas APRN license
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification
- Unrestricted DEA and State Controlled Substances registration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PMHNP preferred
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based psychiatric care to patients with diverse mental health needs
- Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and formulating treatment plans
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to prescribe appropriate medications
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
