Rock Springs Behavioral Health Hospital , a 72-bed facility in Georgetown, TX, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic inpatient team. As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic interventions to our adult and adolescent patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Position Details:
- Full-time M-F, 8am-4:30pm
- 1 weekend per month (rounding on inpatients)
- Support staff includes?Case Managers, Therapists, Nurses
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current unencumbered Texas APRN license with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PMHNP preferred
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based psychiatric care to adult patients with diverse mental health needs
- Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and formulating treatment plans
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to prescribe appropriate medications
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
