Product Quality Specialist

PRIMARY PURPOSE -The Product Quality Specialist ensures the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and procedures by validating compliance and conformity to design, regulatory, and customer requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensures quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures.Verifies associated documentation as it relates to part design, manufacture and conformityUse handheld Precision measurement tools to ensure product conformity to design requirementsReviews manufacturing plans and processes to ensure part conformity to design requirements.Maintain all required records as required by company procedures or FAA regulationsConducts oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values.Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Preferred 3 years of experience in a product quality role, aircraft manufacturing, or records inspection, retention, and investigation. or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience working with or familiarity with AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management Systems.Knowledge of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations with focus on Parts 21 and 29.Proficient in the use of precision measuring devices such as, calipers, micrometers, etc.Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
