Mobile Engineer CallRail is looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. What You’ll Do Build and Maintain Our Platform. It’s what we do best You’ll be part of a core team that owns a domain within our platform and will help build and grow it over time. Be a valuable part of the team. You will bring your core development skills and experience in the server‑side domain building or scaling of an engineering product. You will help evaluate, prioritize, and drive system‑level design changes to our product. Communicate well. You’ll explain your work clearly to team members and seek feedback to build a codebase we all enjoy contributing to. This also includes reviewing code in a way that empowers teammates while improving our codebase. Be a good teammate. You’ll be helpful, open‑minded, respectful, and collaborative. Working in a team, not in isolation, you will serve as a leader, mentor, and technical decision maker for our talented engineers. Learn. Regardless of your level of experience or seniority, you’ll improve your skills and learn more about our customers and their needs. What You’ll Need Writing iOS and Android applications Strong understanding of testing best practices and a commitment to code quality Helping make technical design decisions as part of a team Software development in a team environment Participating in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Staying current with mobile development best practices, frameworks, and OS updates. Understanding of Apple’s and Google’s design principles and interface guidelines Huge nice to haves Experience with push notifications and cloud message APIs (e.g., FCM, APNS) Knowledge of mobile security best practices. Strong understanding of integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services.
