Audio - Visual (AV) Programmer

OverviewAudio - Visual (AV) Programmer role at RoomReady. RoomReady is seeking to expand its technology team. The AV Programmer’s primary role is the development and testing of automation code to deliver simple and intuitive user experiences for RoomReady’s customers. This person is a proactive, accurate, and knowledgeable individual contributing to our Integration Services team. The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting and installing meeting rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms, and board rooms. This position will need to be in the Eastern or Central time zones, ideally within 30 minutes of a RoomReady facility.Base pay range$80,000.00/hr - $110,000.00/hrThis range is provided by RoomReady. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming and configuration of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Q-sys).Author, test and support code for use in AV control system processors, UC appliances and other solutions with automation capabilitiesAccurate and on-time delivery of code in alignment with project schedules.Collaborate with other programmers to develop and implement AV solutions tailored to client needs.Conduct testing and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.Provide on-site support during installation and integration of AV systems, develop installation best practicesCreate and maintain documentation for AV system configurations and programming.Develop user interfaces with a customer-focused philosophy.Configure software, including but not limited to: Codec, Audio DSP, digital signage, and BYOD platforms.Uses Integration team as the primary communication conduit for technical questions, verifications, and issue reporting.Complete all required documentation accurately and within expected timeframes.
