Manpower is currently assisting a company in Lititz, PA, in their search forWire Harness Assemblers Temp to HireJob Title: Wire Harness Assembler Location: Lititz, PAPay: $18/hr + based off experienceShift: 2ndJob Summary:Prepares various types of wire for use in harness assemblies and creates wire harness for use in final assembly of product. Types of wire material include: CAT5, twisted pairs, triples, shielded wire, coax cable, standard wire, wire gauge 30-0, ribbon, and fiber opticResponsibilities: Cut, strip, and label wire as indicated in work instructions.Apply shrink sleeving to wires and apply labels Terminate wires by placing pins through the use of manual or machine-assisted crimping, soldering, or lugging Populates wire connectors by mechanical hand placement or soldering of pins Utilizes guided assembly tools and machines such as Pinsight and Cirris to assist in connector population Operates machine to conduct pull test on wire assemblies and utilizes a hand tools to conduct push test on populated connectors Lays out and threads wire harness from completed wire assemblies by following a harness board diagram Bundles and ties cable after layout to create cable harness Ensure proper wire lay and positioning of solder sleeves to lay properly in the harness Obtains and maintains IPC 620 & 610 certification & JSTD 001 most current revision. Utilizes databases to look up information and complete data input such as SEQUENCE and SYNCHRONO. Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.
