Job DescriptionJob Description

Clair Global's Manufacturing department is growing and looking to add a Cable Assembly Technician to their skilled warehouse team. The Cable Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling the wiring for all speakers built in the manufacturing department.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

  • Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment
  • Ability to work as part a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions
  • Ability to learn and master assembly procedures
  • Ability to learn and master various repair techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair cables and related devices
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks under strict deadlines
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Ability to read work orders and task board to determine assignments

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years' experience working with audio subassemblies
  • Basic hand tool and hand-held power tool skills

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Prepare subassemblies for new speakers
  • Assemble and fasten together parts to form subassemblies according to specified instructions or diagrams
  • Repair or replace damaged wiring to restore speaker to like new condition
  • Trouble shoot and repair cables and devices as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
