Focus is on talent management and providing expert guidance across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and organizational development. Responsibilities include supervisory oversight of select HR staff and collaboration with HR leadership and Operations to ensure a seamless, high‑quality employee experience. Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a strategic partner to department leaders, aligning HR strategies with business goals. Ensure project timelines and deadlines are met. Translate strategy into operational people programs. Talent management: acquisition, performance reviews, development. Coach managers and ensure compliance with people practices. Oversee performance management processes and evaluations. Adopt emerging HR technologies; use data and AI to streamline processes. Lead onboarding, offboarding, and compliance processes. Maintain regular audits and compliance programs. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Manage leave management processes. Provide expert guidance on employee relations, investigations and performance improvement plans. Supervise, develop and mentor HR team members; cross‑train and delegate for coverage. Partner on organizational design, workforce planning and change management initiatives. Collaborate on HR policy development, implementation and communication. Lead and innovate talent acquisition function; manage role design, selection and retention. Lead affirmative action and EEO reporting as EEO officer for diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and contracting compliance. Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decisions and improve processes. All other duties as assigned. Working Hours and Travel Work schedule may vary; evenings and weekends may be required. Travel up to 25% and deployment to client sites may be required. Physical Demands & Working Environment Mobility required on‑site with clients. Sitting or standing for hours; using computer for extended periods. Ability to manipulate up to 15 lbs repetitively. Available to work in office, home, or deployed field (outdoor, adverse weather). Remote work position with home location agreed upon at hire. Requirements – Experience & Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field (or equivalent experience). 7‑10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR business partner or HR leadership role. Experience leading a small HR or talent team with accountability for performance and outcomes. Success implementing and managing talent management programs (e.g., performance management, career development, succession planning, employee engagement). Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance and HR best practices across multiple states. Experience supporting senior leaders with strategic workforce planning and organizational development initiatives. Experience & Education – Preferred Experience leading or supporting talent management and workforce analytics initiatives leveraging data and technology. Familiarity with AI applications in HR (predictive analytics, generative AI tools, candidate screening, learning personalization). 10 years of progressive HR experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Implementation or optimization experience with HRIS or HCM systems. Experience in consulting, professional services or project‑based environment (≥2 years). Federal contracting and EEO officer compliance experience. Change management, organizational design or leadership development expertise. Additional Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Eligibility to work in the United States without employer‑sponsored visa is required; non‑US residents are not eligible. Must pass company and client background and reference checks upon offer of employment.
