CNA 2 – Oncology Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, schedule pattern, 2-week rotating schedule). You'll work every other weekend, and at least one summer and winter holiday each year.

In this position you will:
- Contribute to a high functioning team
- Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights
- Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests
- Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices
- Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference
- Other duties as assigned
The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course, or grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualification:
- 1 year experience as a CNA 2
