This role requires a visionary leader who can balance innovation in cycling technology, premium brand positioning, and operational excellence. The MD will inspire teams, foster a culture of performance and innovation, and ensure Cervélo remains at the forefront of the global cycling industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Vision and LeadershipDevelop, refine and execute Cervélo’s global business strategy in alignment with the Pon.Bike GroupProvide leadership and direction of overall global business functions, including Commercial, Product Development and OperationsLead the brand’s Senior Management Team in developing and executing growth strategy; effectively communicate and cascade organizational goalsDevelop and execute long-term growth by expanding into new markets, channels, and categories while protecting brand equityChampion innovation and ensure Cervélo remains a leader in bicycle engineering and performanceDeliver profitable growth across all regions and channelsDrive global sales, marketing, and distribution strategies to strengthen Cervélo’s market position, by leveraging the Pon.Bike group’s commercial reach and influence and collaborating effectively with global functional leadersOwnership and management of P & L, budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimizationBrand & MarketingProtect and enhance Cervélo’s brand identity as the benchmark in high-performance cycling, fulfilling the brand promise to Make Riders FasterLead partnerships with professional cycling teams, triathletes, and ambassadorsExpand Cervélo’s presence through digital, retail, and experiential channelsPartner with R&D and product teams to drive cutting-edge design and technologyEnsure product pipeline aligns with customer needs and maintains Cervélo’s leadership in performance categoriesOperational ExcellenceOversee global operations, supply chain, and quality assurance to meet the expectations of elite ridersEnsure sustainability practices align with Pon.Bike’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) standardsOrganizational Culture and TalentFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaborationLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global teamBuild personal credibility within the organization through effective management and interpersonal skills, sound business judgment and genuine care and concern for colleagues and employeesQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Proven senior leadership experience, ideally as a Managing Director, CEO, or GM in the sporting goods, premium consumer goods, or cycling industryBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferredStrong track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability in global marketsDeep understanding of brand management, product innovation & premium positioningExperience leading cross-functional and international teamsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skillsPrevious leadership experience in global product marketing and go-to-market strategiesAbility to travel domestically and internationallyPassion for cycling and endurance sports (professional or recreational involvement)LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English.
