Senior Care Therapy (SCT) is seeking full‑time or part‑time Licensed Psychologists to provide in‑person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population in over 300 skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. SCT operates as a clinician‑owned company that handles all administrative tasks—billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre‑certifications—so you can focus entirely on clinical care. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions with residents in sub‑acute or skilled nursing facilities. Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline. Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using SCT’s clinician‑designed electronic medical record system. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Requirements Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution. Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of application. Effective oral and written communication in English. Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR). Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance. Ability to provide in‑person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes per session. Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day. Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities. Preferred Qualifications Previous clinical experience in a sub‑acute, long‑term care, or geriatric healthcare setting. History of treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Psych or addictions experience is a plus. Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
