Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Associate Veterinarian at Steele Creek Animal Hospital, located in Charlotte, NC. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions in pets, conducting routine check‑ups, performing surgical procedures, and providing urgent care. The role also involves collaborating with the veterinary team, educating pet owners on preventive care, and ensuring the overall health and wellness of animal patients. Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring the highest medical standards will be key responsibilities. Qualifications Strong diagnostic and treatment skills for a variety of animal health issues Surgical and dental procedure expertise, with attention to detail and precision Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with pet owners and team members A comprehensive understanding of preventive care and client education Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and active veterinary license in North Carolina Compassionate and caring demeanor with a passion for animal health and well‑being Experience in small animal medicine is preferred but not required Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Industries Veterinary Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
