The Tower Operating Room (OR) is proud to serve as a high acuity, fast paced, multispecialty operating room and as Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma facility. Our team is equipped to handle any complex or simple procedure that comes through the door, including but not limited to: Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedics, Surgical Oncology, Urology, Plastics, Robotics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT, General, Trauma, Thoracic, Vascular, Dental, OMFS, Colorectal, Hepatobiliary and Transplant We average 55-75 patients a day.

- Two years or more of direct OR Registered Nurse Supervisory experience is highly desired.
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
- RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required from AHA.
- CNOR preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.
- Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.
