Microscoope Catheter Assembler

Job Title: Assembler/ Operator
Pay Rate: Operator level 1 - $19 - $20
Schedule: 1st shift 6:00am 3:30pm
*Schedule will be 9/80 rotating schedule
Mon-Thurs 10 hour shifts one week, Mon. Fri. 8 hour shifts the
following week.
**Job Description:**
+ Responsible for the assembly of catheters under microscope in a cleanroom
+ Manufacturing and assembly of medical devices following specific procedures and manufacturing instructions.
+ Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.
+ Successfully complete training on production tasks. Understand travelers/routers, how to identify materials, use a microscope and use production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds.
+ Operate tools & equipment, and complete documentation as required.
+ Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection in order to accomplish assigned task(s).
+ Work directly with the Engineers/Supervisors ensuring product integrity / quality is met at all times.
+ Work with Engineers to develop process documentation.
+ Perform inventory counts.
**Additional Skills &Qualifications**
+ Hands-on experience in manufacturing /production environment or prototyping experience.
+ Manufacturing of catheter products a plus
+ Use of required safety equipment when performing lab work.
+ Prior microscope and medical assembly experience
+ Prior cleanroom experience
+ Understand and perform in-process inspection to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.
