A three-time recipient of the Inc. 5000 award, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead and grow our development team in both the United States and Latin America.This is a full-time, in-office position—ideal for an experienced software leader who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy, and fast-moving fintech environment.Why You’ll Love Working HereBe part of a fast-growing fintech company with a fun, supportive culture.Work in a dynamic, high-tech environment where your leadership will shape enterprise projects.Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including 12 paid holidays, PTO, an additional day of birthday PTO, company-paid life insurance, and 401(k) with employer matchGlobal team with offices in Tennessee, Florida, and Bogotá, Colombia.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a small software development team (3–4 engineers to start), including hiring additional talent as needed.Provide technical leadership while contributing hands-on in React/TypeScript, C#, Rust, Python, and other modern platform languages and technologies.Architect scalable solutions and guide the team in modern design patterns and cloud-native practices.Build and implement processes, SOPs, and development standards that balance agility with quality.Drive SOC 2-ready engineering practices, ensuring security and compliance are embedded in every build.Oversee the delivery of a large-scale enterprise project hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.Partner closely with Product, QA, and Design teams to align technical execution with business goals.Mentor, coach, and grow engineers while fostering a strong, collaborative engineering culture.Track and report on engineering KPIs to ensure accountability, velocity, and long-term success.What We’re Looking For10+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in fintech or enterprise software.5+ years leading software development teams, with proven success in hiring, coaching, and performance management.Strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Hands-on expertise in modern languages, frameworks, and technologies, with a strong grasp of software architecture.Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and integration with third-party APIs.Experience implementing secure coding practices and working with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).Excellent communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.Strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day execution with long-term planning.Familiarity with Monday.com and AI development tools (Cursor, Claude) is a plus.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but not required.Benefits12 Company Paid Holidays10 PTO Days (Paid Time Off)1 PTO Day for your birthdayMedical InsuranceDental & Vision InsuranceCompany Paid Life Insurance401(k)A criminal background check is required.
