Fleet Service Technician

Big Horn Tire is currently in search of a FLEET Service Technician.

This Position is responsible for performing skilled and specialized automotive mechanic work in the repair, maintenance, and replacement of tires. Position requires all job duties must be performed with a “safety first” attitude and work methodology. The Fleet Service Technician will mount/dismount tires, ensures conformance to industry standards, examines and repairs tires, and performs preventative maintenance. Other duties include performing fleet inspections on customer vehicles of all sizes, basic general service functions, and scrap tire analysis.

* Make accurate and decisive decisions regarding types of repairs necessary.
* Make accurate and decisive decisions that determine whether replacement or repair is necessary
* Make accurate and decisive decisions regarding what materials are needed to best complete the service work needed/requested.
* Strong customer service skills
* Learn and maintain all lifting procedures.
* Learn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performance.
* Ability to expand your knowledge of other jobs, cross training.

*Physical Requirements*

* Lift a minimum of forty-five (45) pounds.
* Operate Forklift as required with proper certification.
* Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry, including frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.

*Required Qualifications*

* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Tech level II, and Tech level III may require additional qualifications.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
